IPAS Inaugural monthly seminar – Shaun McColl

IPAS member Prof Shaun McColl, Deputy Head of School of Molecular and Biomedical Sciences, presents “How control-ling the movement of cells can lead the fight against cancer, infection and autoimmune disease” on April 9, 2010 at RiAus 55 Exchange Place, Adelaide.


This historic inaugural event represents an important first step toward the bold IPAS vision for Trans-disciplinary science. It was fascinating to hear a presentation from an immunologist given to a group of physicists and chemists. The discussion afterwards over drinks was truly inspiring, some of the more playful questions being of the type that might just generate significant new scientific work.
