Professor Andrew Abell Wins Joint Australia China Grant

Professor Andrew Abell of IPAS has been awarded a grant of $198k by the Australia-China Special Fund for Scientific and Technological Cooperation, 2009.

These funds will be used to develop new medicines for infectious diseases with the Institute of Microbiology Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The grant was developed in collaboration with Professor John Wallace, A/Prof Grant Booker, Dr Steven Polyak, Dr Renato Morona (Adelaide University), A/Prof Matthew Wilce (Monash University) and Prof Lixin Zhang, Prof Bin Gao, A/Prof Fuhang Song (Institute of Microbiology, China)
